The taproom was filled with noise and laughter and it seemed as if all worries and hardships were forgotten. Only at a small round table sat a single man, the hood of his coat pulled deep into his face and at first glance it seemed as if a drunk man had fallen asleep here. But a faint sparkle from the shadow of the hood betrayed that the man was wide awake and mustered the other guests. Hugo was sure that he had found the person he was supposed to be looking for here.
