No sooner had they entered the subterranean vault than the necromancer cast a curse on the companions. They stood frozen in front of the blood-smeared altar of their adversary, while he fixed them and held them under his spell. It wouldn’t be long before his disgusting creatures would finish off our heroes.
Ziterion struggled to close his mind and concentrated on the book he saw lying on the offering table. He knew that the necromancer drew his power from these ancient writings. Would Ziterion succeed in destroying this book despite the ban?
